Even as a child, our founder Lisa spent countless hours with her grandmother in small, enchanting shops filled with sparkling treasures from all over the world. There, her love for jewelry began – a feeling of magic and connection that has stayed with her to this day.
A pivotal moment came when a friend brought her some special jewelry from Indonesia. It had a unique energy – so different and singular – that Lisa felt: I want to share this with the world . That's how her journey began five years ago, starting with a small Etsy shop.
Since then, a heartfelt idea has blossomed into a growing universe. On her travels to India and Indonesia, Lisa discovered wonderful artisans and was inspired by the diversity of cultures. Today, not only her own designs but also the loving work of her "knotting fairies" flows into the collection – handcrafted with dedication. Behind the scenes, a small, well-coordinated team works tirelessly: Dave ensures that the numbers and technology remain in balance, while Rassa, our shipping fairy, adds a touch of magic to every package.
